A mobile court on Tuesday fined seven persons in different places in the district for violating Covid-19 health guidelines.
Executive Magistrate Afia Amin Pappa and Moin Khan Elis conducted the raids at various places including in front of Chander Hasi Hospital adjacent to the Collectorate building in the district this afternoon, reports BSS.
During the raid, a total of seven people were fined Taka 100 each for not using masks and not maintaining social distancing. The mobile court also distributed masks among people free of cost.
Executive Magistrate Afia Amin Pappa said that the number of corona infected people is increasing each day as people are reluctant in maintaining health guidelines.
The district administration is conducting mobile court to create awareness among people about the spread of COVID-19. She said that the mobile court will continue similar drives in future.
