Police, in special drives from Friday night to this morning, arrested 60 persons including 17 drug traders, and recovered illegal drugs- Phensidyl, locally made liquor and Yaba tablets from 10 upazilas of the district.
Sources with the district police said they were picked up from different areas of the district.
Police said, during the drives, Dinajpur Sadar police arrested 23 persons including 17 drug traders with 138 pieces of Yaba tablets, 50 bottles of Phensidyl and 1200 liters of locally made liquor,
Birganj five, Kaharole two, Parbatipur six, Khansama four, Chirirbandar five, Ghoraghat three, Phulbari seven and Hakimpur police arrested five accused.
