Five women were awarded medal of honor at BhangraUpazila on the occasion of Rokeya Day recently.
These are Fatima Khatunthe successful mother,Sumana Sultana Sathi the economically successful woman,ShirinShilasuccesful woman who started life by eliminating the oppression, JosnaKhatunanother succesful woman who contributed to the development of the society, other woman Aziza Lutfa has achieved success in education and employment.
AlhajMdBakiBillahUpazila Chairman as Chief Guest handed over the medal of honour to the winners in the conference room of the UpazilaParishad. On the occasion, UNO Syed Asrafujjaman presided over the meeting.
Among others, AlhajMahmuda Khatun Vice Principal of Government Haji Jamal Uddin Degree College, Prof Mahbub-ul-Alam President of Bhangura Press Club, NazmulHaque, Officer-In-Charge (Investigation) Bhangura Thana, Gulshanhara Parvin Lipi and Md Aslam Ali ZillaParishad members, Golam Hafiz Ranju and AzidaKhatun PakhiUpazila Vice Chairmen, HasnatJahanUpazila Women’s Affairs Officer, Md Giash Uddin, Bikash Kumar Chando and Md Raihan Ali, a senior journalist were present on the occasion.
