The charter presentation, induction and 1st installation ceremony-2019″ of Dhaka Angel Lions Club was held in capital recently. District Governor, District 315A1 Ln. Dr. Shahidul Islam, MJF graced the ceremony as Chief Guest. 1st Vice District Governor Ln. Md. Nazrul Islam Sikder, PMJF, Dr. AKM Shameem Alam, Cabinet Secretary and Ln. Md. Akkas Ali, Cabinet Treasurer, District 315 A1, Bangladesh were present as special guests. Charter President of Dhaka Angel Lions Club Ln. Kamar Uddin Ahmed, MJF presided over the ceremony while Club Administrator and Advisor Ln. Mohammad Mizanur Rahman delivered welcome speech. Club Membership Chairperson Ln. Kazi Imtiaz Uddin Ahmed recited the Oath of Allegiance. Besides, Club Organizer & District GLT Co-ordinator Ln. Mohd. Faridul Haque, Club Organizer & Sponsoring Club Representative Ln. Saiful Islam and Club Secretary Ln. Lutful Alam & Club Treasure Ln. Mofizur Rahman of Dhaka Angel Lions Club also delivered their speech. A souvenir regarding “1st Installation” was unveiled during the occasion. It is mentionable that Dhaka Angel Lions Club was chartered in June 2019 and has been working for distressed humanity since its establishment, says a press release.
Brahmanbaria Zilla Samity
Brahmanbaria Zilla Samity has accorded a reception to country’s renowned economist Dr Akbar Ali Khan at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) in the capital. Chaired by Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury, renowned researcher and columnist Syed Abul Moksud graced the function as the chief guest while former Food Minister Advocate Qumrul Islam was present as special guest, said a press release on Sunday.
