Law enforcers arrested five suspects from Kamarpara of Uttara in the capital on Sunday night on charge of kidnapping a Sales Representative of Shah Cement Company from the city’s Gandaria on July 12.
The arrested men are Sabuj, 42, Bashir, 30, Faruk, 36, Lavlu, 40, and
working in the Rohingya camp.
Ekramul Siddik, Assistant Commissioner (AC) of Ukhia upazila, said that the bamboo-laden truck overturned on four human haulers and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw standing beside it around 9:00am after the driver lost control over steering, leaving five persons dead on the spot and nine others injured.
Later truck was seized by the law enforcers AC added.
