Mushfiq’s brother held with phensidyl

Police in a drive arrested Mahmudur Rahim Mizu, brother of Bangladesh Test cricket team’s captain Mushfiqur Rahim, on the charge of possessing phensidyl.
Mizu, 39, was arrested with two bottles of phensidyl on Saturday afternoon from Brindabanpara of Bogra town.
On Sunday afternoon,
he was produced in the court, said Mohsin Ali, Sub-Inspector of Bogra Sadar Police Station.
The Police officer claimed that Mizu not only consumed phensidyl, but also sold it.
He has been addicted to phensidyl and drugs for quite a some time. He is abusing his family’s influence to sell drugs, the SI said.
Meanwhile, Senior Judicial Magistrate Shariful Islam has sent Mizu to prison.
Earlier in May, murder charges were filed against Mushfiqur Rahim’s father.
