A total number of recovered patients from coronavirus rose to 47,582 with the healing of 144 more people in the last 24 hours..
“The healed patients were discharged from different home isolations and Dedicated Corona Isolation Hospitals of the district as two consecutive real-time PCR tests were found negative,” said Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi, civil surgeon of Chattogram. The health official said, adding that the percentage of recovery rate stands at 85.46.
Meanwhile, a total of 222 more people were tested positive for Covid-19 after testing 1,151 samples in the last 24 hours at eight COVID-19 laboratories in the district till Thursday evening, climbing the number of infections to 55,668.
According to the hospital sources, the infection rate is 19.29 percent during the period.The daily new infection figure shows a slight enhanced compared to the previous day’s figure of 169, but the recovery rate also enhancing continusly in the district in recent weeks Dr Rabbi also told BSS today.
