4 killed in separate incidents

 At least four people were killed including an unidentified person, and another was injured in separate incidents in Chittagong during the last three days.
The deceased were identified as Bahar, 24, Nilufa Begum, 35, hailed from Halishahar area, and Akhi Akther, 25, hailed from Madarbari in the city.
According to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) source, Bahar was killed in a mob beating as he went to a petrol pump at Barik building area with a bad intention. Locals caught him and beat him mercilessly on Sunday morning at around 8:00.
Getting informed police recovered Bahar and sent him to CMCH, where on duty doctors declared him dead. The body was sent to morgue for autopsy.
Other victim Nilufa Begum was killed by electrocution at her home on Monday morning.
According to CMCH sources, Nilufa had been electrocuted at her residence in Halishahar area at around 8:00am. She was whisked off to CMCH by local people, where on duty doctors declared her dead.
Another unidentified man was killed in a road accident as a bus hit him on Monday evening.
According to Bayezid Police source, the deceased, aged about 30, was travelling by a rickshaw when the bus hit him at around 5:00pm.
The person died on the spot and rickshaw puller Shahadat Hossain Milon, 25, was injured in the accident. However, the bus driver and his helper managed to flee.
The body was sent to CMCH morgue for autopsy.
Another deceased Akhi Akther was allegedly murdered by her husband at Madarbari area under Shadar Ghat Thana on Tuesday afternoon.
