Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-14 ) detained at least four people alongwith hemp at Bhairab town in Kishoreganj on Thursday .Detained persons are Pervaz, 25, Md Hafiz, 34, Md. Shah Alam, 44, and Md Faisal, 20.
RAB-14 Bhairab Company Deputy Commander Additional SP Rafiuddin Mohammad Jobayer said on information, a RAB team conducted a drive at Natal intersection area and detained them.
The elite force members also recovered 41 kilograms of hemp from their possessions.
They were handed over to Bhairab Model Police Station after filing a case under the Narcotics Control Act, the RAB official added.
