Some 38 persons including 4 drug dealers, were arrested in a special anti-drug drive in Satkhira . during the drive , 7 bottles of phensidyl and 100 grams of marijuana were recovered.
From Wednesday (July 3rd), from Thursday evening (July 04th), they were arrested from different areas of eight thana of the district.
Among the arrestees , 15 people were killed in Satkhira Sadar Police Station, 6 in Kalaroa Police Station, two in Tala Police Station, 6 in Kaliganj Police Station, one in Shyamnagar Police Station, 4 in Asasuni Police Station, 2 in Debakhata Police Station, 38 from 2 people from Patkelghata Police Station.
Satkhira district police special inspector Mizanur Rahman confirmed the arrest and said that there were various complaints, including drug and sabotage cases against those arrested.
