Police arrested two cadres of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) with fire-arms and bullets from Satkania Upazila of the district early on Sunday.
The arrested were identified as Mohammad Rifat, 22 and Didarul Alam, 20.
Police recovered a light gun (LG), a country-made single barrel gun and four rounds of cartridges from their possessions.
A team of Satkania police arrested them with the arms and bullets from Eochiya village under Satkania Upazila of the district, said Farid Uddin Khandakar, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Satkania police station.
The arrested were notorious cadres of ICS and had been wanted in more than 10 cases, the OC added.

Another reports added : Chittagong Metropolitan police rrested an Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) man with a country made firearm from city’s Chawkbazar area yesterday.
The arrested ICS activist was identified as Monsure, 20, hailed from Fatichari upazila of the district.
Acting on a tip off, a team of Chawkbazar police with the help of locals arrested Monsure from Chawkbazar post office area with an LG gun at 2.30am today.
Several criminal cases, including the charges of sabotage and vandalism, are pending against him with different police stations, Aziz Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Chawkbazar police, said.
