The much- talked biennial election of Chittagong District Lawyers Association (CDLA) will be held on February 10 next after 11 days from today.
The Chittagong court building premises became wormed over this election which is the now talk of lawyers community.
In the meantime, 3-members election committee has declared the names of the final list o the nominees of 3 panels. 49 Nominees o 3 panels will contest the election for 19 office bearers. These panels are 1) Comibined Lawyers Coordination Parishad led by ruling party, the second one BNP-Jamaat led Lawyers Oikya Parishad and the 3rd panel under the banner of Combined Lawyers Sangsad led by leftwing political forum.
Centring the forthcoming Chitttagong Bar election , the publicity, group meetings, discussions of respective group panels geared up in Chittagong judiciary.
