3 of a family found dead at Bandarban expatriate’s house

Police have recovered the three bodies of a family from their home in Champatali village of Bandarban’s Lama Municipality.
Assistant superintendent of police (Lama Circle) Md. Rizwanul Islam said they went to recover the bodies after relatives of the deceased informed the matter to them at 7.00pm on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Majeda Begum, 40, wife of Kuwait expatriate Nur Mohammad, her children Rafi, 13, and 10-month-old Nuri.
Nur Mohammad’s younger brother Abdul Khaleque said the bodies of Majeda and her young child Nuri and eldest daughter Rafi were seen lying at Nur Mohammad’s bedroom.
“They were seen lying at Nur Mohammad’s room when we peeked through the back window of the house at 7pm as there was no response all day and the door of the main gate of the house was closed. Later, we informed Lama Police Station about the matter,” he added.
A team of police led by ASP Md. Rizwanul Islam entered into the house and recovered the bodies at about 8.15pm.
