Police arrested three men of a Facebook group from a house in the city’s Green Road area on Wednesday on charge of abusing women and eminent personalities.
A team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit arrested Jubaer Ahmed, 21, Touhidul Islam Arnob, 19, and Md Asif Rana, 18, police said.They are the administrators of Desperately Seeking Uncensored (DSU), according to Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
Computer hard disks and mobile phones have also been seized from their possession, said a DMP press release.
According to press release, the founder of this group is a Malaysian expatriate Mohammad Raul Choudhury and this group has been harassing people through misusing technology since long. The group has more than one lakh followers at present, it said.
