Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members in a drive arrested three people along with huge illegal VoIP equipment from different parts of the district and the port city early yesterday.
Tipped off, a Rab team conducted drives in Fatikchhari upazila of the district and Lalkhan Bazar and Hamjarbag areas of the port city from Friday night to early Saturday.
During the drive, the elite force members arrested Salahuddin, 33, Imon, 21, and Soton, 23, and recovered huge VoIP equipment and SIMs of different mobile phone operators from their possessions.
