Khulisi Thana police in Chittagong rounded up 3 drug- peddlers from East Nasirabad area on Thursday.
Police after searching their bodies, recovered 2 Kgs ganza and 40 bottles of phensidyles . The detained drug peddlers are – Kamaluddin(34), son of Saleh Ahmed of Baizid thana area, Md. Faruq(22) of Comila district and Amir Hossain (29) of Panchalaish area in city. Detective police Additional Deputy Commissioner Babul Akhter confirmed the arrest of t three drug peddlers.
Acting on secret information, DB police alongwith Khulsi thana police conducted raid and recovered these intoxicated drug from a private car . Police detained the drugs laden car in their custody, sources said. Legal actions are being taken against the detained and the car owner , sources said. The driver of the private car quickly escaped from the spot, sources said.
