Three people died after having alcohol at a place in Keshabpur upazila headquarters in Jessore on Wednesday night.
The dead are identified as Nizamuddin, 55 of Bhogoti village, Sirajul Islam, 50 of Madhyakul village and Shubal, 58 of Ramchandrapur village under Keshabpur upazila.
Mahtab Uddin, officer in-charge, Keshabpur police station told that the three died at Khulna Medical College Hospital and Jessore Medical College Hospital while they were undergoing treatments there. ‘The first two died in Khulna at night and on Thursday noon while the other died in Jessore on Thursday noon,’ the OC added.
Another victim Khasa, 45 of Madhyakul village was undergoing treatment at Keshabpur Upazila Health Complex, the OC further said.
Four alcohol victims were rushed to Keshabpur Upazila Health Complex after felt sick having alcohol at a place and then shafted to Khulna and Jessore as the conditions were going to be deteriorated.
