After three days of abduction from Kapasia in Gazipur , three children were rescued from Chittagogram on Wednesday .
Three people are allegedly involved in kidnapping and they have been were arrested.
The arrestees are Mustafa Kamal Babon, 24, son of Mohammad Shamsuddin of Kuliarchar West Abdullahpur village of Kishoreganj district, Rita, 35, wife of Baban’s brother Mohammad Sagar, and Sohana, 35, wife of Abbas Ali of that area.
The kidnappers are : Mokhlesur Rahman’s son Sahid (13), Mohammad Dulal Moral’s son Md. Iqbal Morlal (17) and Farid Miah’s son Sohag Mia (19).
Abducted children said that they were kept in a room in Tongi area after giving them jobs in the shoes factory.
The abductors told the parents over the mobile phone that they were seriously injured in the road accidents and were hospitalized. To save them, you have to send money quickly.
After giving a number, the guardians of three children sent Tk 21,000 as they were told .The parents lodged a case with Kapasia Police Station on May 18.
Kapasia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Abu Bakar Siddique said that the main child kidnapper, Mostafa Kamal Babon was arrested from Chittagong on Wednesday night through mobile trekking.
