3 Bangladeshi teens return after serving jail in India

Three Bangladeshi teenagers, including a girl, returned home through Benapole check post on Wednesday after serving three years’ in an Indian jail.
Indian police handed them over to Benapole immigration police at night.
The returnees were identified as Rabeya Khatun,15, daughter of Nur Islam, a resident of Sharsha upazila of Jessore, Soyeb Ali,17, son of Amir, a resident of Kalia upazila in Narail district, and Samrat,17, son of Sagor Miah, a resident of Rasulpur of Barisal district.
Manir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Benapole check post immigration police, said a team of Indian police had arrested the trio from Kolkata for doing job there illegally.
Afterwards, they were sent to Kolkata jail where they were awarded three years’ jail term.
