A 3 daylong workshop (26-28 December 2017) titled the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Telecommunications and Photonics (ICTP 2017) began on Tuesday at BUET Council Bhaban organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), BUET.
Prof Dr Saiful Islam, Vice-Chancellor, BUET, addressed the inaugural session as Chief Patron while Prof Abdul Mannan, Chairman, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh addressed the function as Chief Guest.
At the conference, approximately 25 foreigners / speakers from around 10 countries of the world took part. Teachers, students and researchers from different universities of the country will also present their research papers. About 60 papers will be presented in that conference.
The Banquet dinner ceremony will be held on 27/12/2017 at the conference and closing ceremony on Thursday 28/12/2017 at 4:30 pm in the ECE Building. Among others, Prof Dr Satya Prasad Majumder, Director, Directorate of the Students’ Welfare, Dr. Kazi Deen Mohammad Khosru Professor and Head of the Department of EEE, BUET were present on the occasion.
