About 25 thousand saplings were planted by students in Baraigram under Natore district on Thursday saving tiffin Taka. 25 thousand students of 47 high schools planted saplings at their schools and houses on Thursday.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Anwar Perves as a chief guest inaugurated the tree-sapling planting programmee at Bonpara Saint Josef’s School & College on last Thursday. Principal of Bonpara Saint Josef’s School & College Father Doctor Sanker Domenik, Headmaster of Bonpara Rokeya Girl’s High School Nazma Rahman, Headmaster of Bonpara High School Md Wasek Ali Sonar, teachers and about 3 thousand students were present there.
The chief guest also inaugurated this sapling planting programmee at Gopalpur, Rajapur, Bagdom and Junail High School on last Thursday.
