2 throat-slit bodies found in Comilla, Kushtia

Police recovered the body of a young man with the throat slashed from Mokimpur in Brahmanpara upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Abul Miah, 18, son of Tajel Miah, a resident of the upazila.
Deceased’s family sources said Abul, a conductor of microbus, had remained missing since Monday afternoon.
Locals noticed the body of Abul, with the throat slit and intestines bulging out, lying on a street at Burigang in the upazila and informed police.
A team of police from Brahmanpara thana recovered the body and sent it to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
UNB from Kushtia adds: Police recovered the body of a young man with the throat slashed from a field at Natubia village in Kumarkhali upazila on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Altu Miah,25, son of Arshed Miah, a resident of the same village.
Being informed, the police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Lutfar Rahman, officer-in-charge of Kumarkhali Police Station, said the motive behind the killing could not be known immediately.
A case was filed in this connection.
