At least two motorcyclists, including a college student, died in two separate road crashes in the city on Friday.
At Dhamrai , a motorcyclist was killed after a microbus hit it on Friday morning.
The accident occurred at Tulivita on the Dhaka-Aricha highway.
The victim has been identified as Shahin Ali, 25, son of one Md. Nazrul Sarkar, a resident of Bahalbaria area under Mirpur upazila of Kushtia.
Abu Siddiq, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Dhamrai Police Station confirmed
the news to the media that the ‘dead body was recovered, but the microbus could not be seized. Shahin’s family has been asked to collect the dead body,”
Meanwhile, another college student named Mojahidul Islam, 20, was killed when a truck rammed his bike at Demra on Friday.
The accident took place in Staff Quarter area at 5.30.
Victim Mojahidul Islam was son of one late Mahfuj Miah, resident of Salambagh. He was also a HSC student of Government Kobi Nazrul College.
Bachchu Mia, Inspector of DMCH Police Outpost confirmed the matter to the media.
