MP's nephew killing: 2 more accused held in Comilla

Police in a drive arrested two more accused in connection with the killing of a businessman from in front of Comilla Government College here on Thursday.
The arrestees were identified as Junayed, 23, a master’s final year student of Victoria College, and Mizan, 24, student of the History Department of the college.

Both the accused are the activists of the college unit Bangladesh Chhatra League.
Samu, 40, director of the Comilla branch of the security service provider, ‘Guard Bangladesh’ and son of late Omar Faruk, cousin of the lawmaker from Sadar constituency, AKM Bahauddin Bahar, was shot to death during a BCL internal clash over admission to Victoria Collage on May 29.
Later, a case was filed against some 40 Bangladesh Chhatra League men in connection with the killing on the following day.
Police arrested three BCL men including former organising secretary of the Victoria College BCL unit Saleh Ahmed Russell from different parts of the country.
On June 10, a court placed local BCL leader Saleh Ahmed Russell and two others on a six-day remand.
