Two Ansar members have been temporarily suspended on charge of attempt to murder to a journalist couple.
The suspended Ansar men are Sukkur and Ramjan.
Dhaka district Ansar Commander Khalilur Rahman Confirmed the matter to media. He said following the journalist assault incident, action had been taken against them. We didn’t get final report. Final action will follow the investigation.
Meanwhile, police could not detain the two Ansar men yet.
Sub-Inspector Mofazzal Hossain, Investigation officer of the case said, we are trying to arrest the Ansar men.
Earlier on March 13, some six to seven Ansar men assaulted Staff Correspondent of banglanews24.com Sajeda Sweety and her husband, a journalist of Asian Television, Tauhid Shanta.
Meanwhile, they threatened the journalists to kill with loaded rifle.
Following the incident, Sajeda Sweety filed a case with Mohammadpur Police Station.
