The First International Entrepreneurship Expo, Summit and Elevator Pitch- 2019 was inaugurated on Friday in the city.
Organised by the Dhaka School of Economics, the Expo and Summit was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh Professor Dr Abdul Mannan Chowdhury held at the school premises, said a press release.
Prof Dr Faridul Islam of Morgan State University, USA addressed the programme as the chief guest while Managing Director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Ali Hossain Prodhania and Executive Director of Hope for the Poorest, a sister concern of ASA, MD Mahiul Kadir were present as special guests.
Entrepreneurial Expert Dr Muhammad Mahboob Ali presided over the programme.
Prof Abdul Mannan Chowdhury called for entrepreneurship development as the government has been working to this end.
Prof Faridul Islam said the Dhaka School of Economics has taken a timely decision for entrepreneurship economics at a global standard.
