In an operation to protect mother hilsa in Padma-Jamuna of Shibalaya, 30,000 meters of illegal current nets, 5 kg of hilsa were recovered and 21 people were arrested on Tuesday (October 12th).
Shibalaya Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Jasmine Sultana and Assistant Commissioner Land and Executive Magistrate SM Abu Dardajointly conducted the operation.
