Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 13 people, including seven women and two children, while they were entering Bangladesh from India through Putkhali border on Sunday morning.
Subedar Ayub Hossain of Benapole ICP camp said BGB members chased a gang of human traffickers in the morning in the border area while they were entering border from India.
Sensing the presence of BGB, the human traffickers fled the scene.
