Entertainment Report :
A production of Tong-Ghor Talkies titled The story beside my window, a film by Zuairijah Mou, is included into the computational programme of the Xth Kazan International Youth Film Festival (X IYFF KZN).
The World premiere and also the premiere of the film will be held during the festival which is scheduled to be held from September 4 to 6.
While talking about the film, director Mou said, “In an urban life, there are so many stories beside a window. The stories explore many images and sound familiar in our daily life. The sounds and the images are the main plot of this film. And on the other side, it will be created in the mind of an audience. That’s all what I can say about the film.”
It’s a children based film. In 2016, Zuairijah Mou made another children based short film titled Graffiti. Her Graffiti has also travelled in many film festivals in Bangladesh and India like the Bardhaman Short Film Festival (Bengal), Kautik Short film festival (Nainital) etc. It’s a 3-minute short film about the forgotten artworks on the walls of Dhaka.
In 2017, her 22 minutes post-graduate diploma film titled Bhoy- The Fear of Silence was premiered in Sheikh Russell Auditorium.
Mou is now planning to show her two films Bhoy- The Fear of Silence and The Story Beside My Window to audience around the world.
