The zonal phase of JFA Under-14 National Women’s Football Championship begins tomorrow.
Bangladesh Football Federation will arrange the football competition under auspices of Japan Football Association (JFA). Walton Group is the co-sponsor of the football meet.
Marking the ensuing football competition, a press conference was held at the conference room in Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House on Sunday.
Chairperson of the Women’s Football Committee of BFF Mahfuza Akter Kiron, General Secretary of BFF Md Abu Nayeem Shohag, Senior Operative Director (Head of Games & Sports Department) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Member of BFF Amit Khan Shuvro were present at the conference, among others.
The first phase of the tournament will be held in six venues. A total of 35 teams splitting into six venues will compete in the competition. The venues are: Gazipur, Gopalganj, Lakshmipur, Khulna, Nilphamari, Rajshahi.
The champions of the six venues and the two best runners-up will participate in the final phase. The final phase will be held in Dhaka.
The participant teams of the zonal phase will get Taka fifteen thousand each.
The promoted eight teams of final phase will be given Taka twenty thousand each.
The champions of the mega football meet will be awarded Taka fifty thousand, while the runners-up will get Taka twenty five thousand.
