Zimbabwe fail to escape from `Bangla Wash` again

Bangladesh whitewashed Zimbabwe in an ODI series for the fourth time after winning the third match by 61 runs in the third and final One Day International of a three-match series in Dhaka on Wednesday. Bangladesh bowlers dismissed the batsmen of Zimbabwe gradually when the visitors chasing a 277-run target against the hosts. Pacer Mustafizur Rahman made the first strike and bowled Zimbabwe opener Chamu Chibhabha (4) in the second delivery of the innings. He almost got Regis Chakabva in his second over but Tamim Iqbal couldn`t able to grab the ball. The 20-year left-hander, however, made Chakabva (17) caught by Nasir Hossain in the 7th over. At last, he bagged four wickets. One over later, Nasir Hossain came in action and made Craig Ervine (21) LBW. Zimbabwe lost their third wicket for 47 runs. Elton Chigumbura and Sean Williams then build a 80-run partnership in the 4th wicket. Sabbir Rahman broke the stand and bowled Chigumbura in the 23rd over. Earlier, Bangladesh scored 276 runs in 50 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Openers Imrul Kayes and Tamim Iqbal along with middle order batsman Mahmudullah smashed fifties after the hosts won the toss and elected to bat first at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. Imrul and Tamim both scored 73 each while Mahmudullah added 52.
