Zimbabwe national cricket team arrived in the city on Friday afternoon
on a one and half months tour to Bangladesh to play a complete series of
three Tests and five ODI matches against Bangladesh counterpart.
The African nation will play the first Test against Bangladesh on October 25-29 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur after a three-day practice match at Fatullah on October 20-22.
The visiting side will play the 2nd Test to be held on November 3-7 at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna. The third and last Test between the two sides will be played at the
Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on November 12-16.
The first two ODIs of the five-match series will also be held in Chittagong on November 21 and 23 after a one-day practice match there on November 19. The remaining three ODIs will be played on November 26, 28 and December 1 in Dhaka.
Zimbabwe Test squad: Brendan Taylor (captain), Sikandar Raza, Regis Chakabva, Brian Chari, Tendai Chatara, Elton Chigumbura, Craig Ervine, Tafadzwa Kamungozi, Hamilton Masakadza, Shingi Masakadza, Wellington Masakadza, Natsai M’shangwe, Richmond Mutumbami, John Nyumbu, Tinashe Panyangara, Vusi Sibanda and Malcolm Waller.
