GM Ziaur Rahman shared the 2nd position securing 3 points with 12 other players in the Asian Continental Chess Championships being held at Sharjah of the UAE.
In the 4th round match, Zia drew with GM Bu Xiangzhi of China on Monday.
In the Women section of the continental meet, WFM Nazrana Khan Eva drew with Al Najar Huda of Syria.
Eva earned 1.5 points after the 4th round match.
