Police recovered the hanging body of a youth from his home in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi on Tuesday morning.
The victim was identified as Firoz, 26, son of Asmot Ali of Gourangopur Uttorpara village under the upazila.
However, the reason behind the suicide could not be known yet immediately.
According to the family members, when Firoz was sleeping in his room alone at night, his mother knocked the door on Tuesday morning. But there was no response from his room.
Getting no response, his mother entered the room breaking the door. After entering the room, the mother found that his son was hanging. Then she cried loudly seeing his son hanging.
Later, the neighbours gathered the house and informed to the police station immediately.
The Sub-Inspector of Bagha police station Munsur Rahman said that the deceased’s body sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy and the suicide’s matter could be known after getting the autopsy report.
