Police recovered the body of a youth packed in a sac from Chatra area under Pirganj upazila in the district on Friday .
The deceased youth is Yusuf Ali, 32, son of Idris Ali of village Shahorgachhi under Chatra union under the same upazila.
Quoting father Yusuf Ali and wife Mitu of the victim, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pirganj Thana Rezaul Karim told BSS tonight that Yusuf had been missing since Thursday night.
Local villagers first discovered the body packed in a sac in Chatra area and informed the matter to Mithapukur Thana police this morning. A special squad of Mithapukur police rushed to the spot, recovered the body, conducted its inquest report and brought it to Mithapukur Thana this afternoon.
