Police on Thursday recovered the decomposed body of an unidentified young man floating in the Padma River near the Rajshahi city.
Locals spotted the body and informed police around 11:30 am and the police went to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Abdul Latif Shah, Officer in
Charge of Damkura Police Station. Police, however, primarily suspected that miscreants might have killed the young man three to four days ago in another place and threw the body in the river.
The actual motive behind the murder could not be known yet.
