Police recovered the body of a young man at Jhajor in the city on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Habibur Rahman, 18, son of Kalimullah, a resident of Degerchala area.
Locals spotted the body of Habibur on Monday noon and informed police.
Later, a team of police from Joydebpur Police Station rushed in and recovered the body, said victim’s father. Habibur was slaughtered to death, he alleged.
