A young man was stabbed to death by miscreants on the Ferry Ghat Road at Boro Bazar in the district town on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Bhulu, son of Khabir Uddin, a resident of Zhintola area of the town.
Quoting witnesses, Belayet Hossain, additional superintendent of police, Chuadanga, said a gang of miscreants numbering 5/6 attacked Bhulu and Akash in the area around 1pm while they were returning home from Boro Bazar. The attackers stabbed them indiscriminately, leaving them severely injured.
They were rushed to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where Bhulu succumbed to his injuries.
