An unidentified young man was reportedly killed in a gunfight with members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in the city’s Motijheel area early Thursday. Assistant sub-inspector of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp Sentu Chandra Das said the incident took place opposite Sadek Hossain Community Centre in Motijheel area at dead of night. The young man, aged about 25, received severe bullet injuries during a gunfight with RAB-3 and succumbed to his injuries while he was taken to DMCH at about 1:30 am, he added.
