A young man was killed in an attack by his rivals over previous enmity at Doulatpur village in Sadullapur uapzila early Friday.
The deceased was identified as Sushil Chandra of the village.
Zia Latiful Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sadullapur upazila, said Sushil Chandra had an enmity with Hannan Shah.
As a sequel to the enmity, Hannan along with his supporters swooped on the house of Sushil around 2:30 am and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.
