Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-7 have arrested a youth along with the equipment of making fake National Identity (NID) cards, in city’s Miakhan Nagar area under Bakalia thana today.
The arrested was Junaidul Islam, 28, son Mohammad Younus, hailed from Koigram village under Patiya upazila of the district.
RAB-7 Assistant Officer (Media Officer) Flight Lieutenant Niaz Mohammad Chapal confirmed the news to BSS.
He said, acting on secret information, a team of RAB personnel conducted the operation and arrested Junaidul Islam along with the equipment of making fake documents.
He was handed over to Bakalia police station.
