A customs preventive team detained a young man along with 2.6 kg gold at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here on Thursday evening.
Airport sources said Ibrahim, 22, hailing from Comilla, arrived at the airport around 5:50pm from Kuala Lumpur by a Biman
Bangladesh Airlines flight. When he was about to leave the customs hall through the green channel, the customs preventive team challenged him around 6:40pm, said Assistant Commissioner (Customs) Shahiduzzaman Sarker.
