Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) -9 has arrested a youth in FenchuganjUpazila, Sylhet on charges of trying to blackmail a housewife by capturing pornographic videos and pictures on her mobile phone.
Accused Md. Roni Ahmed (28), son of Abdul Sattar of Judhisthipur villageunder Fenchuganjupazila, RAB arrested him from his home around 9:30 pm on Sunday.
According to the RAB, Roni kept them at one stage of the conversation with the housewife through a video call on his mobile phone. Ronnie later tried to blackmail the housewife. Ronnie threatened to spread the video and pictures on social media if his demands were not met.
