Police have detained a youth named Billal Ahmed with Phensidyl from the border area in Companyganj upazila of Sylhet District on Sunday.
The detainee Billal is the son of Tayubur Rahman of Lamni village of Goainghat upazila.
Sajal Kumar Kanu, Companyganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge, said that Billal was detained with a total of 556 bottles Indian Phensidyl during the drive on the basis of secret information. He has been jailed under the Narcotics Control Act.
