A mobile court on Tuesday sentenced two men to three months’ imprisonment for taking Yaba tablets in Amtali upazila.
The convicts were identified as Sajib Hossain, 22, and Imam Hossain, 21, Sub-inspector Mehedi Hasan of Amtali Police Station said a police team arrested Sajib and Imam from a rickshaw garage in Natun Bazar area early Monday as they behaved in a wild way after taking Yaba tablets.
The arrestees were produced before the court of executive magistrate Debendranath Urao who handed downed the verdict.
