A 21-year-old youth has been arrested for reportedly raping a seventh grader in the Sadar upazila.
Rapid Action Battalion on Tuesday announced that it arrested Milon Morshed, the accused, on Sunday night.
He was the victim’s neighbour at Zirakhali Union’s Bhabanipur area.
Milon has been named in a case filed with Kushtia Sadar police after the rape.
RAB-12 Kushtia CPC-1 unit commander Ruhul Amin said they arrested Milon from the town’s Chourhash bus terminal area acting on a tip-off.
