Police recovered the body of an unidentified young girl from a ditch in the Radio Colony area here on Friday morning.
Police said, locals saw the body of the girl, aged around 20, in the water body by Dhaka-Aricha highway in the morning and informed them.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy, said officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station.
Miscreants might have strangulated the girl to death elsewhere and dumped the body in the ditch, he said.
