One of the most anxiously awaited occasions in any school is its annual day or year-end program day. The year-end program of ITHS Uttara Junior Section was celebrated on 6th of May, Saturday starting from 10 a.m. and ending at 12 p.m. The program took place in the Main Campus Auditorium. The stage was decorated very beautifully and students performed on the stage were dressed in a befitting manner for the performances. The invited guests attended the program on time and the program started well sometime after 10 a.m, said a press release.
The program was glorified with the presence of the Chairman of ITHS, Mr. Bedrettin Suata, Principal Mr. Yavuz Koca, all Head of Sections, respected parents and guardians, and last but not the least, all the teachers, staff, students and parents. As per the schedule, the program started with the recitation of Surah Fatiha and after that the National Anthem of Bangladesh was sung by the students very nicely. With the echo of the melody of our beautiful national anthem the program went on proceeding to the next items of the schedule. The very enthusiastic speech of the Head of Section was delivered in a galvanize manner.
After the speech of Head of Section, a song titled “Best day of my life” was sung by the students of class 3 & 4. After the beautiful performance, the very accomplished teachers were awarded for their sincerest performances throughout the academic year. Students were also given Certificates for 100 % attendance which served a very motivational purpose for the overall betterment of the students. Following the sequence of the program, poem recitation, a French song, the recommendable dances came one after another. The song titled ‘Emon Moja Hoyna’ was also a very entertaining one. The Karate Show presented by students of class 3, 4 & 5, and the classic drama ‘Wizard of the Oz’ were presented flawlessly. The whole audience was captivated by the immaculate drama performance. The very attractive performance of a fusion dance with the song ‘Dheem Ta Dare’ was the last item that was staged giving the audience a great taste of pleasing entertainment. In the mid of the program, 2016-2017 Yearly Activities Presentation was attained by Mr. Sakir Balci.
Excitements and a great deal of joy was visible all around during the program. The hard work of all the faculty member of the school for long time paid the worth of great achievement of fulfilling the program perfectly. The program ended with the loud applauds from the audience and thanks giving words from both Head of Section and the teachers.
