Yeangder TPC Siddikur slips to joint 40th after 3rd round

Bangladesh’s prominent golfer Siddikur Rahman slid down to joint 40th from joint 27th in the US$500,000 Yeangder Tournament Players Championship after the 3rd round at Linkou International Golf and Country Club in Taipei on Saturday.
Siddikur’s total of one-over-par 217, 11 shots behind the joint clubhouse leaders Ajeetesh Sandhu (India), LU Wei-chih (Taiwan) and Johannes Veerman (USA) – witnessed two birdies against four bogies in the 3rd round.
Siddikur traded two birdies against two bogies in the 1st 9 and carded two more bogies in the 2nd session to stay in the top-40, sharing the spot with nine other golfers.
The two-time Asian Tour winner Siddikur started the tournament with a better form of two-under-par 70 in the 1st round, followed by one-over-par 73 to aggregate one-under-par 143 from two rounds that gave him the chance to stay in the last 79 after the cut.
