RAB-14 of Jamalpur conducted a raid and arrested two youths with thousands of yabas from their stomachs. The arrested are Sabuj Mia (19) son of Nashir Uddin of Unchiprang village of Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district and Sadek Sabuj Mia (22) of Mahanpur of Jamalpur Sadar upazila.
According to the press release sent by Company Commander CPC-1, Squadron Leader Ashikuzzaman of RAB, they were arrested on August 7 in the evening of Chhontia area of Jamalpur on the basis of secret information about the delivery of yaba inside the stomach in a novel manner. After the medical examination of the arrested, 1 thousand 337 pieces of Yaba were recovered from their stomach. The value of seized yaba is Tk 4.1 lakh.
